| F.R. “Short” Bowman and his wife Thelma D. Bowman founded Bowman Handles Inc. in 1967. In those years we primarily made hammer handle blanks. Then later hammer handles. In 1974 Lynn Bowman and his wife Loretta Bowman purchased it. Soon after we began to manufacture a full line of striking tool handles and then later we began to offer complete tools and agricultural tool handles. | |||||||

During Lynn Bowman’s ownership the corporation grew in leaps and bounds expanding operations and facilities. Lynn constantly looked for ways to expand our line to include just about anything a hardware store or industrial house would need in the hardware line. | ||||||
|

Lynn Bowman passed away in 1994 leaving the business to his wife Loretta. Loretta still runs the corporation with the help of two of her three children and her daughter – in – law. . Ray Bowman, her son, is the Vice President of the Corporation as well as the Plant Manger. Lisa Martin, her daughter, is now the Corporation Secretary/Treasurer and is the In House Sales Manager. | ||||||
